Our Team

Dr. Kent Voyce’s journey is truly admirable, blending his commitment to education, specialized training, and dedication to his patients. He was born and raised just right outside of Chicago, Illinois. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree at Emory University in Atlanta, GA in 1985. He then returned to Chicago, IL to complete his doctorate graduate degree at Illinois College of Optometry. After the completion of his degree, he became one of approximately 10% of all optometrists to complete an additional residency. This year was completed at Westside VA Medical Clinic in Chicago. Dr. Voyce then moved to Miami, Florida where he practiced in a multi-specialty clinic and was an assistant professor of optometry at Nova Southeastern School of Optometry. After moving to Georgia, he started his own practice, with initially two locations in both Fayetteville and Newnan. He later decided to focus solely on the Newnan location. Since 1996 Dr. Voyce and his dedicated staff have been serving Newnan and its surrounding counties. Dr. Voyce and his family reside in Newnan.

 
Dr. Voyce’s education, hospital-based residency, and experience allow him to expertly diagnose, treat, and manage all eye disease and conditions. Dr. Voyce has extensive experience in dry eye management and treatment. He has a state license in Georgia and is a member of the American Optometric Association and Georgia Optometric Association. He enjoys bike rides, hiking, and spending time with his wife and son. He is someone who values a well-rounded life while dedicating himself to improving the vision and well-being of his community. He is thankful to his parents for instilling a caring attitude towards others as well as a strong work ethic. He’s truly made a positive impact in his field and the lives of those he serves.

Mallory started with the practice in 2020 as one of our well-trained technicians, but has excelled in the role of receptionist. While visiting our office, she will probably be the first and last friendly face that you see! Mallory currently lives in Newnan with her spouse and two children. She enjoys travel and describes herself as a foodie! 
 

We've had the pleasure of working with Shonnah since 2009. Prior to her start with Voyce Eye, she worked locally with other optometrists/ophthalmologists in both the optical and the exam room. She currently assists Dr. Voyce during the exam and administers diagnostic testing. Shonnah enjoys a good outdoor walk and spending time with her spouse and son! 

 

Kaylee has been with Voyce Eye since 2023. Kaylee is our primary technician and is excellent with administering quality patient care while keeping a warm smile on her face. She lives in Newnan with her spouse and three dogs. Kaylee loves enjoying outdoor activities with her friends and family! 
 

Kaitlyn rejoined Voyce Eye in 2024 as our optician, and previously worked with the practice as a technician in 2020. Prior to rejoining our practice, she gained valuable experience in customer service, reception, insurance, and optical. Along with Kaitlyn's invaluable skills, you're sure to meet a friendly and eager-to-please face. Kaitlyn lives in LaGrange with her spouse and three cats. She enjoys comedy and reading philosophy books.
 

Tabby started with the practice in 2006. Over the course of her time with the practice, she has challenged herself to learn new skills and adapt to the ever changing field of optometry. She is a very hands-on office manager, assisting with patient testing and optical orders while attending to the back office needs as well. While outside of the office, she loves to spend time with her two boys, working out at the gym, and she enjoys a relaxing night in.
